Safe Trade Mgm

Safe Trade is an initiative which aims to provide a safe area for our community to exchange goods in person. They are active in many cities across the United States, including Montgomery. The spots are usually located across from police stations so there’s a significant amount of security. 

The goal of our project was to create a logo system for it is as well as branding assets. After the logo was completed, we produced a sidewalk graphic, wayfinding systems that would drive foot traffic to the safe zones. We utilized a bright green which we complemented with a medium green and deep blue. The idea was to use colors which 1) are synonymous with safety and 2) that could be easily eye-catching from any distance. Our simplified version of the Safe Trade logo is modern, fun, and visually striking enough to really catch our citizens’ attentions.
