Having an online e-commerce shop has many perks - one being that it is easy to set up and another that you forgo the expensive cost of renting a space. Etsy is just one of those many e-commerce options. There are so many local Etsy sellers producing phenomenal work products that we don’t know about. That is the drawback of selling in a market with such a surplus of supply - it’s easy to be overlooked.
The Etsy Mgm project is an initiative which promotes shopping local. By taking a downtown store front, donated by Foshee Realty, and turning it into a physical, curated showcase (created by Bryan Svencer of David & Nicole’s Antiques), we can drive interest and business to a select number of these businesses at a time. This gives our local sellers and opportunity to drive traffic to their Etsy shops and ultimately prosper.
We served as the liasons by contacting all sellers and connecting John and Bryan so the construction can begin.
